The developer does not collect, store, or share personal data. The app contains no advertising or analytics SDKs. No account or sign-up is required.
Your bookmarks, memorization progress and settings are stored on your device. App data is not included in cloud backups and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
Location is used on your device for prayer times and qibla when you choose to use your location. It is not sent to the developer. Camera access is used for the prayer-space overlay; video is processed on your device and is not recorded or transmitted. Prayer reminders are scheduled locally.
Recitation audio is downloaded from King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex servers (download.qurancomplex.gov.sa) when you choose that feature. Their servers receive your IP address as part of the internet request and handle it under their own policies. Masjid search opens Google Maps when you tap it; Google's privacy policy applies.
Core reading, translations, prayer-time calculation, qibla compass and duas work offline. Internet is needed for recitation audio downloads and masjid search.
